Fiji Princess

Experience the South Pacific with Fiji Princess
Blue Lagoon Cruises offer three boutique itineraries, each taking you on a journey into Fiji's spectacular Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. Sail to uninhabited tropical islands, anchor in private lagoons, spend countless hours lazing on golden beaches and swim, snorkel or dive in clear blue waters.
A maximum 4 hours cruising per day ensures you spend more time exploring onshore and less time on the ship. Visit remote island villages, discover the ancient Fijian culture, sit down to an island feast set on a breathtakingly beautiful beach, swim with manta rays, learn how to cook traditional Fijian dishes, and stop off at the Sacred Islands and Sawa i lau Caves.
Our small ship, Fiji Princess accommodates 68 passengers, meaning our cruises are always personal and friendly, complimented by our 100% Fijian crew. With over 60 years experience cruising the islands of Fiji, Blue Lagoon Cruises know how to show you the best of the South Pacific!
Fiji Princess is meant for boutique cruising and allows the exploration of countless tranquil inlets and bays, not accessible to larger cruise ships. Blue Lagoon Cruises ship, Fiji Princess has been purpose-built for cruising and selected for the ocean going conditions of the Fiji waters, especially around the Yasawa Islands.
Accommodating up to 68 passengers and measuring only 179 feet (55 metres) in length, we can access bays and islands that would be impossible to reach in a large ship. We can get so close to shore, that we can tie off a coconut tree and you can swim to the beach!

All cabins have ocean views

Each cabin features a private ensuite, ample storage space, TV/DVD system, vanity table, hair dryer, soft towels and fragrant soaps. Activities - onshore & in the water
With a maximum 4 hours cruising per day, you'll spend more time seeing, doing and experiencing Fiji!
Experiencing the unspoilt South Pacific is what we're all about, and we don't expect you to experience it all from a sun lounger on Fiji Princess! With a maximum of four hours cruising per day, we'll get you into the islands, to experience first-hand all the wonders they have to offer. A highlight of a Blue Lagoon cruise is our breathtakingly beautiful Nanuya Lailai, where we have a wonderful private beach available exclusively for your enjoyment. All activities are optional, so if you're so inclined, you're more than welcome to laze on-board and just admire the views. Activities include:
  • Swimming in warm, crystal waters surrounding the Yasawa and Mamanuca Islands. Every morning at 6am, there is a chance for the 'early birds' to head ashore for a spot of swimming and throughout each day there is plenty of time for cooling off in the sea!
  • Snorkelling trips are a-plenty! The colourful underwater world will astound you. Our crew know all the best spots and can give lessons if required. Equipment is provided.
  • Educational experiences such as evening reef talks and guided snorkelling safaris with a qualified dive instructor.
  • Scenic bush walks across Nanuya Lailai
  • Reef shark diving or swimming with manta rays (seasonal).
  • Fijian cooking lessons
  • Sunday service church visit at a local village
  • Movie night under the stars
  • A real treat... a village feast prepared for you and enjoyed at a Yasawa Island village
  • Optional sports fishing trip (extra cost)
  • Handline fishing with the crew
  • Village school visit. Meet the children and volunteers running education programs.
  • Abseiling down a rocky face - look around and the view will astound you!
Spend a day at our private, pristine beach on our island, Nanuya Lailai (4 and 7 night cruises). Fiji Princess will tie off from a coconut tree and you can spend the day on the beach enjoying:
  • Sip on a cool drink under a coconut tree.
  • Paddle on kayaks, both single and double. The lagoons are sheltered and safe for all to enjoy.
  • Stand up paddle boards for guests to use.
  • View sea life via our glass bottom boat.
  • Challenge the crew to a game of beach volleyball.
  • Enjoy the vibrant tropical fish, with a fish feeding session.
  • Savour the experience of a traditional Lovo feast under the stars.
  • Visit the sacred and spectacular Sawa i lau Caves, which are steeped in history (4 and 7 night cruises).
  • Learn the art of basket weaving and coconut husking (delicious result!)
  • Visit remote Yasawa Island villages.
  • Experience a traditional Kava ceremony.
  • Focus on the simplicity of kicking-back and relaxing, catching some rays of sunshine and sipping on a cocktail or cool drink in the pool. We like to call this 'Fiji Time'.
  • Diving is outsourced and so is not included in the cost of the cruise, but is so worth it! The Yasawas and Mamanucas offer some fantastic diving opportunities with colourful reefs to explore. Diving is available on all cruises and can be booked once on-board. 'Discover Scuba' courses are also available with prior notification.

On a Blue Lagoon Cruises, we have a saying: “The more you eat, the better you float!”
Dining is a true delight due to the skilled work from the chef, the variety of delicious dishes and the beautiful locations you dine in. Exotic barbeques, magnificent buffets, freshly made omelets and beautifully designed traditional Fijian meals are all on the menu.
All meals plus morning and afternoon tea are included on your cruise. Tea, drinking water and juice are included in the cost of your cruise as is barista coffee (yes, we have a great coffee machine on-board!). The only thing that is not included is alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
