Glittering Resurrection Bay in Seward is the starting point for this voyage, which travels southwards down the dramatic west coast of Alaska and Canada. Have your cameras ready as we cruise past the awe-inspiring Hubbard Glacier, where colossal ice chunks calve into the sea. Then it’s on to Juneau for wildlife watching, Wrangell, to see the 8,000-year-old rock carvings at the home of the Tlingit people, and Klawock, the gateway to the aptly named Misty Fjords National Park. In Ketchikan, admire the houses built on stilts and 19th-century totem poles, before we enter Canadian waters, following the breathtaking Seymour Narrows down to Vancouver.
