Civitavecchia (Rome) to Fusina (Venice)

Discover the treasures of four southern European countries – Italy, Greece, Montenegro, and Croatia – on this eight-night odyssey. Bidding farewell to Civitavecchia, our first port of call is lemon-scented Sorrento, before a day at sea brings us to Igoumenitsa in Greece, known for its laid-back beaches and lush hiking trails. Next, discover Montenegro, and the labyrinthine fortress town of Kotor, followed by the Croatian cities of Split, famous as a Game of Thrones filming location, and Zadar, with its Roman ruins and Venetian walls. Re-entering Italy, we come to Trieste, a border town claimed by so many over the years that it has a distinctly independent air. Our final stop is Fusina, gateway to the enchanting city of Venice.
